Let Me Not Complain

Let me not complain
For this baby growing inside me is a blessing.
Let me not complain
For each day I grow bigger and bigger is another day closer to holding her in my arms.
Let me not complain
For my back aches and sleepless nights are a beautiful sacrifice.
Let me not complain
For each stretch mark is a mark of honor.
Let me not complain
For some women will never know the movement of a baby in her womb.
Let me not complain
For some women will never see their babies full term.
Let me not complain
For some women can’t conceive.
Let me not complain
For this may be the last time I am able to carry a baby.
Let me not complain
For some women would give anything to have an achy back, stretch marks, sleepless nights, extra weight, heart burn, and little odd movements.
Let me not complain.
Let me not complain.
let me not complain.
Let us never forget our privilege. If you ever catch me complaining about my pregnancy, you have permission to rebuke me.
Love your heart, Colleen. From a woman who may never be able to feel the movement of a child in her womb, thank you. =)
You truly are inspiring
love it and love you! thanks for helping me remember not to complain…even post pregnancy!!!
